Tech Tour Space Programme 2021

The Tech Tour Space 2021 is designed to help European start-ups developing tech solutions in the Space sector or developing applications based on satellite data to boost their investment readiness and build relations with investors.

Tech Tour Space 2021 is an online Programme hosted by Generalitat de Catalunya in collaboration with Go2SpaceHUBs and Point.IoT – European Union’s Horizon 2020 initiatives- and organised by Tech Tour, with the goal to encourage innovation, growth and investments in the field of Space Technology.

Are you a start-up developing tech solutions in the Space sector or developing applications based on satellite data and looking to secure investment (seed or series A) or a growth company rasing series A and B investment?

Then you will benefit from:

  • Live webinars to improve your investment readiness.
  • Venture Academies with live feedback from investors and experts about your Business Model and Presentation skills to help you get ready to pitch in front of investors and better communicate your value proposition.
  • Get selected to Participate in an investor pitching event with a dedicated slot to present your value proposition and investment need to the audience and pre-arranged one2one meetings with investors.

The initial deadline for applications is 27st June 2021.

• No fee for applying nor attending: there is no charge to apply and no fee for the companies to attend the online sessions – selection is based on merit only.
• Profile: once registered, please make sure you update your company and project profile or add any new projects that you would like to pass the review process and also upload a presentation in PPT/PDF format. We will need your profile completed to submit by the application deadline.

Last Wednesday May 26th, we held the first EIC Accelerator info session. If you couldn’t attend, you can find below all the material. We encourage you to register for the next sessions that will take place every second Wednesday until June 30.

The NOVExport’s Call for SMEs is open. Apply now!

The NOVExport project is offering interested companies the possibility to benefit from a three months Innovation Acceleration Programme.

Deadline: July 30th, 2021 at 19.00 CET.

 
NOVExport will support companies from all sectors of activity, who intend to use the space and digital technologies.  from the following regions in South-west Europe:

  • France: Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Occitanie
  • Portugal: Norte, Centro, Lisboa, Alentejo, Algarve
  • Spain: Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, País Vasco, Navarra, La Rioja, Aragón, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura, Cataluña, Comunidad de Madrid, Comunidad Valenciana, Andalucía, Murcia, Ceuta, Melilla, Islas Baleares.

The participation involves access to training, mentoring, commercial preparation and speed meetings to improve their innovation and internationalization capacities.

The selected companies will benefit from a complete Innovation Acceleration Programme, with access to online tools developed by the project, training to improve innovation methodology, ongoing mentoring, matchmaking opportunities, access to an international network of support and follow-up support.

The NOVExport Acceleration programme will have a duration of three months in two editions. Throughout this programme, the SMEs will receive training and coaching to manage advanced projects and operations in order to develop better products and services. The training will be conducted through webinar sessions, focussing on innovation and product development. The sessions will be provided by local staff from the six different NOVExport’s Hubs in France (Montpellier and Bayonne), Spain (Badajoz, Bilbao and Madrid) and Portugal (Coimbra).

Futura Vive at FITUR 2021

Futura Vive, one of the Go2Space-HUBs Acceleration Program 1st edition participants, has been present at the 2021 edition of  FITUR, the International Tourism Fair in Madrid.

Go2Space-HUBs at DES 2021

From May 18 to 20, the international forum Digital Enterprise Show 2021 took place, which has closed its fifth edition in Madrid with more than 430 speakers, 120 exhibiting firms, 8,134 delegates on site and 11,489 unique streaming connections from more than 30 countries.

Go2Space HUBs has co-organised the brokerage event  in collaboration with the Enterprise Europe Network. In this edition, some of our Acceleration Program startups and companies SMEs  were present: Hydra Space, Madrid Space, Futura Vive an UTW.

EIC Accelerator info sessions and workshops

The Go2Space-HUBs project is organizing several infodays and workshops about the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator, a key novelty of Horizon Europe which represents the most ambitious innovation initiative that Europe has taken, with a budget of €10 billion for the period 2021-2027.

A unique feature of the EIC is that it provides funding for individual companies (mainly startups and SMEs) through both grants and investments. If you want to learn more, join us!

The speakers

Anna Nikodym-Bilska has been working for RTOs, as well as Defence and Security sector private companies since 2004. Anna has been involved in international project cooperation with key partners, EU bodies and NATO agencies. She has taken part in FP7 and H2020 projects and is a H2020 expert/evaluator for REA and EASME. She provides SMEs training and workshops in successful application to H2020.

She is a TOP 500 INNOVATORS Programme alumna (Science-Management-Commercialization Program studies, UC Berkeley, 2013) and since 2015 has coordinated a cooperation platform for TOP 500 INNOVATORS researchers, business and industry.

The 2nd edition of the Go2Space-HUBS Acceleration Program takes off! Meet the new participants.

Go2Space-HUBs welcomed yesterday the new participants of the Acceleration Program 2nd edition. The twelve selected companies will be involved in an intensive three-month acceleration program of online training and individual mentoring.

A high impact program based in the HUB Madrid (Spain) where participants will receive, during three months, extensive online training and individualized mentoring in market and investment readiness, reinforcing technology base and reviewing operations management. It will also include sessions for the knowledge, management and data processing of the Earth observation platform DIAS Environment, on European financing programs, and on the Technology Portfolio of the European Space Agency (ESA).

Moreover, the participants will attend networking activities with experts from government, industry, research and investment sectors, and participate in events on the space sector, where they will present their solutions to potential investors and find strategic partners to grow their business globally.

The Business Modelling webinar will delve into a key aspect of every entrepreneur’s journey, namely business modelling and planning, addressing the following elements:

InnoRate services have three layers: In the first layer, InnoRate platform performs a fully automated, all around assessment of startups or SMEs’ technology, management, marketability and business feasibility potential. Copernicus Masters 2021 submissions open

The Copernicus programme offers free and near real-time access to data that substantially contribute to socio-economic benefits, as well as smart and sustainable growth. The programme fosters the development of innovative solutions in many domains and helps to achieve the priorities of the European Union, such as the Green Deal, making Europe fit for the digital age.

From now until 19 July, participants can submit their innovative ideas for the use of Earth observation data across 10 different topics and challenges including artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, data analytics, smart farming and maritime.

This year, the ESA Digital Twin Earth Challenge looks for proposals that use artificial intelligence and machine learning to provide solutions for key societal challenges, including food security, climate adaptation as well as pollution monitoring and prevention.

Together with cash prizes, challenge and prize winners will receive access to an international ecosystem of leading Earth observation organisations, substantial satellite data quotas, and business development support worth more than €835 000. The overall winner will receive an additional cash prize of €10 000.
