Curiosity, relentless and optimism are the attributes that define my nature. That explains my academic landmarks, which includes grades in aeronautical engineering and political science, a master in international relations and now are on the track to get a specialization in AI and deep learning. Currently I hold the position of technical manager at SOGECLAIR aerospace S.A., which I reached on the grounds of a demonstrated track record in the field of structural analysis of main aeronautical structures. In the last five years, I have been fostering and boosting innovation within my company by means of several initiatives, such as: seven H2020 Clean Sky 2 proposals made, two of whom granted; establishment of the Office for Innovation and Digital transformation; certificated as Innovative SME by the Spanish government; won the first edition of the Lab4pymes, a collaborative scheme for innovation with the UC3M university as a partner.

Lara Arche

Lara Arche

Spain

Telecommunications Engineer by training and passionate about space, I have spent my entire career at Thales Alenia Space. This has always been linked to R&D and innovation. I started in the Radio Frequency Product Line as Technical Responsible and there I was involved in a multitude of projects, both commercial and R&D. And now, as Innovation Manager, I am more focused on developing innovative product and business solutions.

I have always been in relationship with Universities and startups, guiding  doctoral projects and innovative technological researches. I have also participated in projects that have brought agile methodologies to hardware and I am currently part of the team of an internal startup (within the company). So I am widely familiar with the Lean Startup methodology and with all the steps that go from when you have an idea until you have to convince the stakeholders that it is a good business.
