EoSSENTIAL Ltd is a startup company from Zagreb (Croatia) established in 2020 by 6 experts from Earth observation and geospatial industry. The product we are making is a cloud based platform that allows user friendly interaction with satellite data relevant to their forests and agricultural parcels. The lack of a comprehensive system for monitoring the state of the forests and agricultural land is a significant environmental problem for the sustainable management of the mentioned environment. The technological answer to solving this problem is possible through innovative Machine learning methods and available Earth observation (EO) data. In combination, we use these technologies for developing automated, cloud computing, system for monitoring of the spatial and physical changes in the area of user’s interest. Our solutions are promoting sustainable agricultural and forestry techniques that are much needed in helping farmers and forest owners meet the needs of the present, without sacrificing those of tomorrow. These solutions can help maximize soil quality and protect local forests and waterways — creating a greener and better future!
