GEKO NAVSAT is a technological statup with high social impact, that uses digital and satellite navigation technologies to create accessible outdoors and natural environments for people with visual disabilities.
Geko Navsat is a technological start-up born in 2012 that develops innovative solutions based on satellite navigation technologies, to improve safety and experience of people and companies that carry out activities in the natural environment. As a result of its participation in various R&D projects, the company has developed Blind Explorer, a digital system (App and web) that allows any natural space to be converted into an accessible environment for people with visual disabilities through the use of GNSS and augmented acoustic reality. It is currently the main product of the company that is already being marketed. With this solution, many accessible environments have already been created, such as 1,200 km of the Camino de Santiago and more than 15 urban parks. The company has the support of the main Spanish entities related to disability and more than 15 awards in technological and social innovation.
